Competencies of Graduates of S1 English Language and Literature
S1 graduate of English Language and Literature equipped with knowledge, ethics, skills and English skills in general and for specific purposes or professionals in various fields such as tourism, export-import business, hospitality, travel agency, banking, secretarial, language courses, translation , corner-bahasaan, film translation, mass communication and public relations.
English Language and Literature graduates not only have the skills and knowledge of linguistics and English literature, but also able to apply these skills in productive activities and community service are professionals in various fields to understand the basic principles of knowledge and skills in English and scientific basis and methodology research so as to find, understand, explain and solve the problem with the English Language and Literature; has the ability to apply the knowledge and skills for productive activities and community service; possesses an open and responsive to the development of science and technology and socio-cultural environment, especially with regard with English Language and Literature; able to do research in the field of English Language and Literature by using the scientific method, and be able to communicate and be accountable for the results of research on scientific principles.
